Prometheus ChitoGauze XR PRO

Overview

The ChitoGauze XR PRO is a Z-folded, chitosan impregnated gauze. Chitosan is a naturally occurring, biocompatible polysaccharide with haemostatic properties that supports localized clotting independently of the clotting cascade in moderate to severe bleeding. The radio-opaque strip makes the dressing easy to be identified during X-Ray investigation.

The chitosan is impregnated through the dressing, and specifically designed to limit particle shedding into the wound, unlike other currently available dressings.
